  • Do this 2-4 times and then wash with cold water.

3. SHAMPOO WITH BAKING SODA

But how? Keep reading. Baking soda has sodium bicarbonate that seems to be effective in removing tough residues.

How to use:

  • Take a bowl and add some shampoo and baking soda to make a paste.
  • Wash hair with hot water.
  • Apply the mixture evenly to the scalp and hair from root to tips.
  • Massage gently, cover with a shower cap and leave it for 20 minutes.
  • Wash with a shampoo followed by a conditioner.

4. COLOR REMOVERS

A color remover – hydrosulphate is a strong chemical agent that will significantly remove semi-permanent hair dye from your hair tresses. This effective method is the most damage-causing as the hair becomes porous, dry, and more prone to damage.

What do you need? 

Before starting the application, you need a pair of gloves, a hairbrush, shower cap, color remover, non-metal bowl, clarifying shampoo, conditioner, and hair clips.

How to use a color remover:

  • Wash your hair with clarifying shampoo.
  • Add the remover and activator together in a bowl and form a uniform mixture.
  • Cover your head with the mixture using a hairbrush.
  • Use a shower cap to wrap your head.
  • Leave it for half an hour and wash with shampoo having a clear 5 minutes of massage. You have to wash your dyed hair more than once to remove the residue completely.
  • Moisturize your hair with a suitable conditioner.

5. VITAMIN C WITH ANTI-DANDRUFF SHAMPOO

When it comes to removing semi-permanent hair dye, random thoughts of vitamin C come to our mind. These immune-boosting tablets also have hair stripping properties.

What do you need: 

  • Vitamin C tablets.
  • Anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioner.
  • Pestle and mortar.

How to use: 

  • Depending on dry hair strands, crush 5-10 tablets into fine powder.
  • Do this with either pestle and mortar or with a spoon.
  • Add some amount of anti-dandruff shampoo to make a thick paste.
  • Apply this paste to the affected area.

6. ACETUM
