Katy Perry pulls off while dressed as a pineapple during New York performance

Leave it to Katy Perry to still look sexy while dressed as a pineapple. If you thought it was impossible to style yourself on a fruit and still look a knockout then think again because the Roar singer has proven it can be done.

We know Katy’s always had a rather distinctive fashion sense and we’ll admit that she’s had her fair share of ‘misses’ as well as ‘hits’ throughout the years.

But there’s just something about this pineapple costume that she wore while performing at the Barclays Center in New York which really worked for her.

Playful Katie slipped into the light-hearted outfit as she sang on stage for fans on the latest leg of her Prismatic World Tour . She fashioned a colourful pair of high-waisted pants with a bra-like rainbow top – both of which were topped off with some faux fruit leaves.

There was something strangely innocent about the 29-year-old who donned a pair of lime green socks pulled up above her knees and a funky pair of hot pink shoes.

The whole outfit was topped off by the star’s vibrant green hair which – believe it or not – she has actually dyed for the tour . Yes, that’s right, she’s not wearing a wig.

The former Mrs Russell Brand has worked her way through various shades of pink, blue, purple and yellow before settling with her latest barmy barnet.

It’ll take a lot more than that though to put us off the chart topper who always looks her own unique type of drop dead georgeous. From all that dancing around on stage it’s no wonder that she’s managed to maintain such a killer body
