Blake Lively lives the high life in towering heels and seductive in blue on Gossip Girl set (but comes down to earth with comfy loafers between takes)

Her Gossip Girl character lives the high life as a Manhattan queen bee, but it seems Blake Lively prefers a more down to earth approach.

The actress, who plays Serena van der Woodsen in the hit show, was spotted strutting around New York’s Madison Avenue wearing five-inch strappy heels and a plunging blue dress while filming scenes for the upcoming series today.

But between takes, the 24-year-old kicked off her stylish but painful stilettos and slipped into a comfy pair of flat loafers.

Blake was filming the sixth and final season, which will only include 11 episodes, with her co-stars Chace Crawford and Barry Watson, who will be playing her love interest.

Her character is expected to return to her old wild ways for the last season.

Back in May, a spokesperson told Us Weekly: ‘Serena has gone off the grid, beyond even the reach of Gossip Girl. Her friends fear for the worst and hope for the best, but even they can’t imagine where they will ultimately find her.’
