She’s been busy posing in nothing but figure-hugging Skims for months now. But for once Kim Kardashian took a break from hawking the waist-hugging shapewear, to remind her fans of the perfect curves that lie beneath.
And the reality star turned businesswoman couldn’t have looked better, as she showcased her fabulous figure in a very skimpy monokini while larking around on the beach in Mexico. The shiny bronze swimsuit, a cross between a ʙικιɴι and a bathing suit, was the perfect choice for the 39-year-old, highlighting her flat stomach and shapely curves.
Kim took advantage of the balmy January weather in Cabo to take a swim, having a Baywatch moment as she splashed around in the ocean. But with a face of full makeup and heavy hoop earrings, she made sure not to go in too deep. Kim wore her long hair, complete with extensions, in a youthful braid which reached right down to her rear.
The mother-of-four is on a short getaway with friends, staying at the luxury Esperanza H๏τel and Resort, where an ocean front villa is $7,000 a night. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star recently talked of gaining 18lbs over the last year and has told fans she relies on her Skims to keep her body looking red carpet ready.
But despite her concern over gaining a little weight, she believes in everything in moderation. Kim keeps her body in shape with daily workouts and eats a clean plant based diet, but still treats herself to her favorite indulgence – frozen yogurt. Indeed, so much does she love the icy treat, that she has her own frozyo machine in her otherwise health focused kitchen.
She said of her recent weight gain: ‘It makes you not be so hard on yourself. I feel good when I’m in the gym and when I’m eating good but then if I have a few months when I’m eating cookies and cake and a bunch of stuff, I still want to feel confident when I have to go out.
‘Obviously you can’t rely on [shapewear] 100 percent. You have to take care of yourself. But if women can feel confident and comfortable in shapewear that’s a little bit more modern and not so old school and grandma-looking, then that is my goal. They look good and they’re still Sєxy!’
Of course, like her pal Chelsea Handler, Kim could have simply turned her Skims into beachwear. Comic Chelsea amused Kim and their celeb friends at the weekend when she shared a video of herself running on the sand in her Skims.
Kim commented in response: ‘Crying!!!!! The tape over the vag is the best part!’ Chelsea had closed the opening in her shapewear with Skims tape, usually used for taping breasts in position.
