Kylie Minogue’s edgy new single Tension could be a diss towards Kylie Jenner.
Fans on social media have speculated that several lyrics from the song may be aimed at Jenner after Minogue feuded with The Kardashians star in 2015 over the U.S. trademark for their shared first name.
In Tension, which Minogue co-wrote, the Aussie star sings, ‘Call me Kylie-lie-lie / Don’t imita-ta-tate.’
In another verse, she says, ‘I’m a star babe-babe-babe / Do this all day-day-day.’
Fans on social media have interpreted the lyrics as a potential swipe at Jenner, with one posting, ‘I can’t help but hope this is a dig to Kylie Jenner and I am here for it!’

Another wrote, ‘@kylieminogue is this a swipe at the untalented Kylie Jenner? Please tell me it is god I love you Miss Minogue!’
‘I’m sorry there’s only one “Kylie” and that is Minogue. Kylie Jenner will forever be referred to as Kylie Jenner,’ snapped one.
Tension is the second single from Minogue’s upcoming thirteenth studio album, which will be released on September 22.
Minogue and Jenner previously clashed in 2015 when The Kardashians star attempted to register the name ‘Kylie’ with the US Patent and Trademark Office for advertising and endorsements.

In response, Minogue’s team filed their opposition in 2016, citing potential ‘damage’ to the Australian singer’s brand.
According to the BBC, Minogue’s legal team called the star an ‘internationally renowned performing artist, humanitarian and breast cancer activist’, while labelling Jenner a ‘secondary reality television personality’.
Minogue also seemed to take a dig at Jenner, tweeting at the time, ‘Hello…. My name is KYLIE. #Lightyears.’
While it’s unclear what happened in the dispute, there’s speculation that the two sides settled privately.

Minogue addressed the incident on Watch What Happens Live last year, saying, ‘It was just business, obviously.’
She continued, ‘When I was named Kylie … I think I’ve met one person older than me called Kylie, so it’s kind of unusual.
‘I’ve spent a lifetime protecting my brand and building my brand, so it was just something that had to be done.’
She also insisted that there was no blood between herself and Jenner, and even said she’d love to meet the Kardashian clan one day.
