Working out is a big part of how Megan Fox stays in shape. According to Hello magazine, her exercise routine includes working out three days a week at a minimum. Of her three workout sessions, two of them are “really hard.”
Fox’s trainer told People that her exercise routine follows a five-factor workout method: There are five phases: a minimum five-minute cardio warm-up, a lower-body sculpting exercise, an upper body toning exercise, then an abdominal sculpting exercise, and finally, a five-minute cool down.
Reportedly, the actress is also a fan of spin classes and Pilates. Her sessions with her trainer usually last for an hour in total.
The Foods Megan Fox Cuts Out
Probably even more important than Fox’s exercise routine is her diet. To keep her shape, she restricts certain foods and even cuts them out of her diet completely. Eat This reports that she has cut out anything that is processed or white from her diet.
Speaking to E!, Fox revealed that the worst thing she puts into her body is “coffee once a day.” When listing the foods that she cut out, she included bread, crackers, pretzels, chips, and “anything unhealthy.”
Speaking of cutting things out, Megan Fox has also reportedly stopped drinking alcohol. Her decision stemmed from her appearance at the Golden Globes back in 2009, when she didn’t like her own behavior after drinking too much champagne.
“I went through multiple glᴀsses of that. I was belligerent and said a bunch of s–t I shouldn’t have said on the red carpet after that,” the star admitted.
“I think I got in a lot of trouble for whatever I said on the red carpet at this event. I don’t remember why but I know that I did. You can look that up.”
Five Small Meals A Day
In addition to monitoring which foods she puts into her body, Megan Fox also controls how often she eats, apparently eating five small meals a day rather than three larger ones.
Some nutritionists have claimed that this process can boost a person’s metabolism, making it easier for them to lose weight.
However, Nutrition Action has published information that challenges this, reporting that it may not actually make a difference how frequently a person eats or how big their meals are, as long as they are choosing to stay within their designated calorie count and are eating healthy foods.

So what does Megan Fox eat over the course of an average day? Hello reports that her daily diet consists of egg whites, almonds, salmon, smoothies, and “Japanese food.” She gets her carbohydrate intake from fruit and vegetables rather than from unhealthy sources.
Her breakfast usually includes oatmeal, along with egg whites and almonds, and she never skips this important meal.
Lunch would usually be salmon with some rice or other Japanese food. Dinner is also clean and will often consist of chicken breast with a side of quinoa.

Throughout the day, Fox fills up on healthy snacks that usually include fresh fruit or a protein shake. Her trainer revealed to People that her favorite smoothie is “the red smoothie.”
This includes Chai tea, a scoop of protein powder, almond milk, and then whatever berries are in season.
No Cheat Days For Megan Fox
Perhaps the most difficult part of Megan Fox’s diet and exercise routine that keeps her in shape is the fact that she doesn’t allow herself to have any cheat days whatsoever. She sticks to her strict meal plans, particularly if she is trying to lose weight.
However, in an interview with E!, Fox revealed that if she were to allow herself to cheat, her go-to meals would be pizza or even cake.
